It takes time and attention to arrive at Favorit. To engage, to read, to compare, to reflect. And eventually to make a conscious choice. We value that deeply – and appreciate when someone finds their way to us. An automated confirmation from the shop system was always not enough to express that appreciation. A handwritten card feels more appropriate. That is why the personal note has been part of Favorit from the very beginning.
I still write postcards from time to time. Finding one in the mailbox is a very different experience from receiving a digital message. You take it in your hand. Turn it around. Perhaps read it a second time. It has travelled. And someone has consciously chosen it, written it, sent it. Handwritten lines carry moods. Perhaps that is why they still matter today. A quiet anchor to the analogue. Comforting in an ever faster, more impersonal world.
